Capros® is made up of mainly low-molecular-weight hydrolysable tannins (greater than 60 percent).
The main tannins (emblicanins A and B, pedunculagin, and punigluconin) in Capros® produce a stable vitamin C-like effect without the pro-oxidant activity found in vitamin C.
